I cut with a blade,
You took it away,
You didn't know what you were getting into
I picked up a bottle,
Smashed it on the ground,
Carved with the shards of that instead.
When you found out,
You removed all the glass,
Gave me plastic instead.
So I tore at my skin,
With my fingernails,
Still drew blood,
Only harder now.
You didn't like this,
So you cut my nails right back.
I threw myself against the walls,
Punched them as hard as i could,
Breaking my fists and destroying the room.
You lined them with matressess,
To make them soft and useless.
So I tore out my hair,
Great chunks at a time.
You bought a straitjacket,
Made me

A Guide to Self Harm
What is self harm?
Self harm/Self Injury (SH/SI) is when an individual causes harm or inflicts injuries to their body deliberately. The most common forms of self harm include cutting yourself, burning, or hitting yourself or other objects to cause pain to yourself, pulling out hair and overdosing on tablets.
Its a common misunderstanding that self harmers are suicidal and this is not always the case!! Self harm is not always related to suicidal feelings but there are some self harmers who self harm as a way to stop themselves killing themselves but theres other self harmers who self harm to NOT kill themselves and are not relate
I scratch,
White marks appear.
As they turn red,
Out pours all my anger.
I smash,
My head against walls.
Pain soars through my body,
Releasing all my mental pain.
I burn,
Red marks on my skin.
They bring freedom,
Setting me free from the fires of hell.
Hurting no one but myself.
Finding mental freedom from physical pain.
Red, white, purple, blue.
Anger, rejection, upset, pain.
People say it's wrong,
They look down their noses.
Only making things worse,
Friends leave, strangers frown.
So,
I can't cope with my mental pain,
But i've never inflicted pain on YOU.
Alone he sits
In his room
Quiet and still
Envisioning his doom.
He has no-one to talk to
So nothing to say
But all he wants
Is to take it away.
Alone he sits
Quietly he stands
Getting closer
For the usual demand.
Insanity stays as
Sanity goes
Faster and faster
Making blood flow
Seeing new faces
Telling no lies
In this world
They welcome demise
Old pain goes as
New relief arrives.
If only he could,
If only he would
Then it will go
Be gone
The end.

My Loneliness Is My Depression
Do you know the meaning of loneliness?
Of darkness?
Of being alone, night after night, without
A single friend to turn to for comfort?
No, you do not, you lucky character.
You never have.
Youve always had people who
Love you and cherish your company.
And here I sit, bitter tears falling again.
All alone.
Wondering why my life is destined for
Nothing but pain, hate and burning anger.
So do you know the meaning of loneliness?
Of my pain?
Do you better understand my depression
And how I came to be this wretched person?
